Senior Recovery Coordinator - Staffordshire - Temporary and Permanent - £16.74 - £18.41 per hour

Change, Grow, Live (CGL) are one of the largest charities operating throughout the UK that deliver a recovery and rehabilitation service to victims of alcohol and substance misuse. Hays are proud to partner with CGL on their new project where they are providing a new focus, working with Ministry of Justice to support those within the justice system to receive support at a time where it is at most required and has not necessarily been available. This project is due to run for the next 3 and a half years and provides some fantastic opportunities to work not only with a UK leading charity but also support some of the more vulnerable people within society.
Your new role
You will be working within a prison environment providing recovery support to individuals who have been convicted of multiple reasons and who are victims of alcohol and substance misuse. You will be providing a programme to help support in their rehabilitation, delivering screening, assessment, psychosocial interventions, and recovery planning. You will be working with service users to encourage social (re) integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives, promoting recovery, peer support and self-determination.
This is a full-time position with temporary and permanent opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position, you will ideally have prior experience working as an integral part of a team in to deliver a high-quality provision to PoP. As a Senior Recovery Coordinator, you will have carried out and showed ability to work in the capacity of supervision, learning and development processes, keep up to date with developments in services, legislation and practice to relevant client groups, ensure implementation of policies, contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of a Senior Recovery Coordinator.
This job is open to entry level graduates at Recovery Coordinator level also, who may not have experience but qualifications such as a degree in Criminology is essential and/or good knowledge, personal experience.
