Senior Quality Assurance Microbiologist

This leading healthcare company specialises in developing medicines for acute and chronic medical conditions, such as kidney disease and immune disorders, and aims to set new standards for healthcare globally. They are looking to strengthen their business through the permanent appointment of a Senior Quality Assurance Microbiologist to be based on site in North London.
Your new role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Microbiologist, you will provide a release service for the company, through the support of the batch review process, release of raw materials, and components for both the processing and release of finished product to market. You will also provide support for investigations into non-conformances, CAPAs, and complaints to maintain compliance with relevant requirements through the utilisation of both quality and investigational tools. As a Senior Quality Assurance Microbiologist, you will also support document control activities, as well as supporting all aspects of QMS and reviewing and approving RMS for incoming materials. You will support change control products, new product development projects, and environmental monitoring, alongside participating in cross-functional project teams and attending meetings as a representative of the Quality department. Your role will also require you to maintain knowledge and expertise of Quality Management Systems and Medical Device Quality System Regulations. What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this Senior Quality Assurance Microbiologist position, you must have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant life science discipline, with experience of working in microbiology laboratory. You must have knowledge of sterilisation operations and demonstrated experience of sterilisation validation, as well as quality investigational tool training. The successful candidate will be familiar with CAPA, document control processes within a regulated QMS and auditing, as well as having Quality Assurance experience in cleanroom environments.
