The Marketing & Communications team form part of the wider commercial function. Our client is currently going through an exciting period of change and working towards a new strategy with a real shift towards using digital media and channel marketing to truly connect with their customers. The team are based at HQ in Cardiff Bay and work with a network of offices throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Your new role
Our client are seeking a self-starter to develop, implement, track and optimize digital marketing campaigns while improving their online brand presence. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining their website and landing pages (through the introduction of a new CRM) across the UK and Ireland to enhance demand generation and retention. Working closely with external agencies you will a take the lead in developing a seamless digital customer journey across multiple channels and touch points. Ensuring our clients’ communications land in the right place at the right time.
You will lead on the development, design and management of the clients.co.uk website and associated micro sites and collaborate with the marketing team and external designers to create landing pages, while considering SEO optimisation. You’ll Work closely with external agencies and plan, design and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns (including email, paid social/search and digital display) across multiple channels . You will translate data, trends and behaviour into actionable insights and optimise marketing tactics accordingly. You will lead (with operational support) on the implementation and maintenance of digital marketing systems, (including automation and CRM), evaluating and adapting as appropriate. You’ll be required to own and develop the paid media and advertising strategy, performance marketing goals, objectives, metrics and measurement. You will mentor and educate the wider commercial team to obtain future buy-in
What you'll need to succeed
You will be commercially minded with experience in managing marketing campaigns across a range of channels and will have experience of working with third-party agencies on the development of digital communications, web pages and campaigns. You’ll possess strong analytical skills to measure performance of activity and deliver actionable insights to optimise marketing activity. You’ll be a creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to maximise the use of different marketing channels and will have a sound understanding of user behaviour. You’ll be an excellent communicator, with the ability to influence and negotiate and have excellent organisational and project management skills. You’ll ideally have experience in building, or contributing to, paid media marketing plans and managing spend and have a knowledge and understanding of web development and CRM platforms. You will be able to use Adobe Creative suite
