Your new company
Hays have partnered with a globally renowned scientific organisation who were the first privately owned company specialising in their field. Having secured key contracts with the British government and numerous private entities they are now undergoing a period of prolonged growth. To support their ongoing successes they are now looking to recruit a Service Desk Manager with a broad understanding of best practice service desk processes and service delivery.

Your new role
As the successful candidate for this role you will enjoy varied, challenging and rewarding responsibilities, working with technical experts and the IT manager to improve internal service delivery processes and implement positive service change. You will be renowned throughout the organisation as the lead member of a senior technical team, liaising with management and resolving complex service management problems.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate for the role, you will display that you're confident communicator who has expert understanding of ITIL processes, SLA's, service delivery and technical team management or leadership. Alongside your commitment to customer service, documentation and security you will show that you are a motivated individual who is able to interact and implement change at all levels of the business.

In addition to you service management skills you will have also maintained technical support expertise with technologies such as Windows, Exchange, Server, and Office 365. Any experience with MS System Centre will place you at a distinct advantage.
