Senior Developer

Senior Developer | Up to £70k DoE | Remote Working | Merseyside | Permanent

Your role...

You will be joining the organisation as the new Senior Developer, bringing in your experiences from both personal projects and industry leading practices to support the development of the organisations client applications.

You will be working with the wider team to support and implement agile tooling to both the internal users and external client applications.

The day to day responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting proofs of concept for the teams and customers in response to the specifications.
  • Support in writing or inputting additional proposals to solutions that will lead to the team’s success.
  • Adhere to delivery timescales and manage costs together as a team based on architecture design and risks.
  • Communicate efficiently together and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.

To be successful in this role you will need a rich combination of experience, proven skills and personal attributes. In this role you will be expected to travel to our customer sites UK wide, working from client site, offices or from home, as appropriate. Flexible working arrangements will be available.

  • Proven development experience in a commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of agile methodologies using cloud and open-source technologies.
  • Experience with SQL .
  • C#/C++ languages within a .Net framework.
  • Experience of setup and configuration within a cloud environment.
  • Understanding of application supporting environments.
  • Great communication, presentation, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Desirable:
  • Proven experience of managing/mentoring developers and application support analysts
  • ITIL qualifications
  • MS Azure Certifications
  • Agile certifications
