Recruiting for Sen Teaching Assistants in the South Warwickshire area on part/full time basis from September

We are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants in the South Warwickshire area including Shipston on Stour, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Alcester. You will be working alongside many primary and secondary schools throughout the different year group depending on your preference.
Your new role
As a SEN Teaching assistant, you will be working alongside the classroom teacher supporting in teaching students with complex educational and medical needs such as PMLD, MLD, SLD, DHD, Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, and those with challenging behaviour. You will be working with students from different ages depending on which year group you assist. You will be required to work on a 1-1 basis with specific students or small groups inside and outside the classroom. This is to help the children catch up or those that need extra physical and mental support when it comes to learning. You must ensure a safe and secure environment is always kept and support the children in being more confident and engaging in sessions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful SEN Teaching assistant you must have good knowledge in the teaching curriculum you will be supporting in. You must be patient and always remain calm as students with SEN will require more attention and help which you must be happy to assist in. You must be passionate about the role and motivated to keep all children engaged in class as much as they can as well as outside the classroom! It is essential you have experience working as a teaching assistant of at least 40 days or equivalent or at least 3 years of experience in children and adult social care.
