Working in the governance office at Coventry City Council, a additional role has been created for a Subject Access Request (SAR) officer to support an increase in workload

Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for processing SARs for the social care sector specifically. This process includes reviewing and redacting documents and preparing information for disclosure with the accompanying letter to the recipient. Discretion and confidentiality are essential to this role, given the nature of the information you will have access to.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience within a similar role is essential, including knowledge of complex redaction and entitlement to information, to ensure the correct response is issued. Knowledge within the social care sector would also be useful, given the content of the information requested.

What you'll get in return
Supported by a small team including a number of assistants to help process the initial request, you will work directly for the Head of Information Governance in this role. This is hybrid working role, on a long term basis, based in Coventry and for the relevant experience the rate of pay can be reviewed.
