To carry out Survey & Valuation work for UK Banks and Building Societies, along with Red Book Valuations for the purposes of probate, taxation and matrimonial. Carry out homebuyer reports and building surveys (not essential) for private clients.
Key Accountabilities:
To produce accurate and high quality valuation reports to our lender and private clients
To have a good market knowledge and to keep up to date with market changes
To observe RICS regulatory requirements and to be aware of any changes, including those in respect of the Red Book
To observe the companies policies and procedures including those relating to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety
Professional skills and experience:
RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) or AssocRICS Surveyor
RICS registered Valuer
Experienced surveyor with a thorough knowledge of building pathology, lender guidance and expectations
Clear and concise communication skills – face to face, email, written material and by telephone.
Good understanding of the London and South East Property Markets and the influences that affect them
Good IT skills
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
Able to drive in the UK without restriction or limitation
Attributes:
Experienced surveyor with a thorough knowledge of building pathology, lender guidance and expectations
Has credibility and presence, is an excellent relationship builder both internally and externally, wins trust quickly and maintains it.
Self-motivated and capable of taking the initiative and working effectively without supervision
An effective team player who will work ‘hands on’ where necessary to ensure the business achieves its objectives.
