Your new role
The relocations manager will be responsible for the opening of a number of corporate sites across various European locations

  • Responsible for all relocation services across multiple European locations, maximising operational delivery
  • Act as Project Manager for pre-opening activities, including planning, tendering, design, construction and relocation.
  • Implements and manages the facilities services, proactively monitoring all activities
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement with contractors to maximize performance, reviewing KPIs regularly
  • Define facilities services considering the customers and real estate requirements from the planning phase to completion, ensuring compliance with operational quality, timing and budget within the respective guidelines and regulations.
  • Manages all small-works projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring assets are appropriately maintained and failures/costs are minimised
  • Devise, implement and manage asset management plans
  • Prepare comprehensible annual management budgets in conjunction with businesses
  • Participates in the delivery of large scale projects, including production and office site construction, to optimize future facilities management delivery
  • Implement & follow EHS guidelines with Zero Harm Culture during the planning, implementation and operation of sites/projects.
  • Takes ownership for all topics relevant to assigned locations, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction


What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of location management, project management and contractor leadership experience in the real estate environment
  • Experience in managing the facilities services in office/R&D sites
  • Ability to lead maintenance and fitout projects
  • Experience of participating in large scale construction and fitout projects UK & Europe
  • Proven expertise in the life science or comparable industry
  • Strong communication skills as well as excellent presentation and moderation skills
  • Full driving license is critical.
  • International travel experience is critical, travel to office locations is expected 35% of the time
  • University degree as Facilities or Project Manager, ideally complemented by Internationally recognized Project Management and EHS certifications.

£65,000 per annum + package ( yearly bonus scheme based on company performance)
