My client is a high profile, exciting and fast paced start up organisation in the financial sector that are responsible for investing and improving critical services across the region to support the regional economy. My client is going through a period of significant growth and change transformation whilst rolling out lots of exciting programmes across the region that will play a huge part in the growth of our regional economy. My client has created a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment partner to join an established team, initially on a 6 month FTC basis and play a critical role in bringing the right talent in to the organisation.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Resourcing and alongside a growing team, you will provide a full hands on recruitment support service to the business which will include coaching and training line managers, working closely with the HRBP’s to understand the internal talent pool, supporting the full selection process, devising selection material including interview questions, assessment day material etc. You will also be tasked with the development of managing a recruitment assistant and therefore overseeing and supporting them on a daily basis to deliver results. You will also build strong relationships with PSL agencies as well as Identify and engage appropriate training providers for apprenticeship programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter to gain valuable career building experience.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must be an established recruiter with either in-house OR agency experience and will have a background of recruiting in a professional services environment. You will be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. The successful candidate will have the confidence and experience to advise hiring managers throughout the full recruitment life cycle working to tight deadlines and providing advice throughout the process. As this is a start up company, you must be resilient and able to work at pace whilst adapting to change when needed. You will have experience of direct sourcing through the use of LinkedIn and be involved in selection meetings with hiring managers when needed. You must also have experience of writing job profiles and carrying out job evaluations. Experience of recruiting finance or IT roles would also be advantageous.
