Records Management Consultant, 6-Month Contract, Remote

This exciting new role is with a well-known public sector organisation, located in Fife. This organisation is looking for an Information Governance & Records Management Consultant. This is an initial 6-month contract with likelihood of extension beyond this. As this is a new role, the client is open to market rate. This role is Outside IR35 and will be fully remote.

Your new role
This client is doing a date migration from numerous systems to M365/Sharepoint online. They are looking for someone who has experience working within a records management role to provide guidance on this migration. You will work alongside the Information Governance and Security team and advise on records management, information governance, data governance, data privacy and compliance, particularly relating to the data migration to M365/Sharepoint.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential you have experience of the following:
  • M365 / SharePoint Online
  • Records management
  • Information governance
  • Data Governance
  • Data Privacy
  • Understanding of Microsoft M365 E3 and E5 Compliance offerings including, preferably, experience of implementing M365 in relation to information governance and records management.
  • Subject matter expertise in using Microsoft 365’s native tools for records management, information governance, eDiscovery and data protection/privacy
  • Previous experience working with organisations on evaluating Microsoft (and other) enterprise technologies from a records management, legal, compliance, and regulatory perspective
  • Expertise with Microsoft data protection tools such as Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Unified Labelling.
