Your new role
Seeking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join an expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to be challenged on a daily basis and is looking develop their skill set. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this is a permanent position based close to Newry, Co.Down working from Mon to Fri between 8:00 – 16:30.
Duties will include:
First Article, final and in process Inspections to AS9100 requirements. You will also manage the customer returns process and raise supplier corrective actions. Conduct internal process audits to ISO9001/AS9100 standards, lead and Problem Solving activities using defined tools such as 8D & 3C. Monitoring and reporting of monthly KPIs - MRB & NCR disposition, quality Alerts. Support Training Activities. Manage Calibration Plans.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally we would like to see candidates with 2 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role working within a manufacturing environment, a relevant 3rd level qualification, good knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc - We would also be keen to speak with candidates experienced in completing First Article Inspections and have the ability to conduct internal audits and have strong communication skills.
