Our client, a leading firm of chartered surveyors, are looking to recruit a property Administrator/Office Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Working to provide high level administration support to a small team this role is vital to ensuring the successful, smooth running of the office. Your responsibilities will include preparing correspondence, reports, marketing material, you will be performing some audio typing from dictation to type up letters and reports. You will also be answering the telephone, filing, invoicing and liaising with the finance team, inputting client’s details onto internal databases, client liaison, going out to site and conducting viewings of properties (commercial and residential) online research, diary management, meeting and greeting visitors and PA support to the senior management team. This is a varied role where we are looking for someone to bring ideas and new processes and ways of working so gives you a great opportunity to evolve the role into much more and really diversify your skills and experience.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role it would be advantageous if you have any experience in the property sector, but this is not essential. Our client is looking for someone who is highly IT literate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills but is willing to look at applications from candidates with varying levels of administration experience. Graduates looking to get into the property sector will also be considered. You should be highly organised, work well under pressure and be a real team player.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a small but friendly, progressive and dynamic office/team. Our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000 pa dependant on experience. The role is working full time, Monday to Friday with free on-site parking (a real bonus in central Cambridge!) There is flexibility with hours. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can be in the office 4/5 days per week but there is some flexibility on this too.
