A job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly established and growing financial services organisation in Newport. The organisation is in an ambitious period of change and transformation, so this role offers great scope for career progression plus the opportunity to work on several interesting projects.

Your new role
Working as part of a growing Business Change department, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a range of transformational, regulatory, and business change projects. You will liaise with a range of key stakeholders, providing regular updates to the Change Delivery Board on the delivery of projects. You will also responsible for supporting the strategic planning process and ensuring capacity planning from a Portfolio perspective.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery and embedding of projects, creating, and delivering project work plans, ensuring project documents are complete, managing resource forecasting and meeting financial objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
  • A proven track record of successful project management
  • Proven delivery of leading transformational and BAU change
  • Experience of working as a project manager in a highly regulated industry (Financial Services/Utilities/Pharmaceuticals etc)
  • Process analysis, benefits management, and business continuity skills
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
  • If you hold a recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile etc.) this would be an advantage although it is not essential
