Project Manager required to work for leading public sector organisation managing a large M&E contract.
Your new company
Working with a large public sector body based in Stirlingshire you will play a key role in the maintenance of critical community infrastructure across a range of public buildings including schools. This role is for an experienced Project Manager to join their property team and work on the delivery of a programme of planned and reactive maintenance across this range of buildings.
Your new role
Working across approximately 20 public buildings your role will be to oversee and integrate the introduction of a new contractor. This contractor is responsible for the maintenance and modernisation of these properties. You will manage the working relationship between the contractor and the organisation. Liaising directly with key members of the management and facilities team, you will be responsible for building strong and positive working relations. To oversee the budget and costings of projects ensuring they are inline and in scope of what is expected. This role is a 12 month, full time contract based in and around Stirlingshire
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Construction Project manager with a strong understanding of managing a large contract within the public sector. You will have broad technical construction skills but with a focus on building services such as heating , plumbing and mechanical. Your role will liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders such as your designated contractor and schools so positive communication skills are essential.
