The Programme Lead role is very dynamic and will allow you to deploy a variety of skills to manage and prioritise work across a complex delivery plan and associated pipeline, identify risks and work with senior boards to manage decisions and push forward delivery.
You will build your profile across the organisation and be looked to as an expert and provider of guidance on the programme and will be accountable to the leadership to ensure Programme delivery against plans.
Responsibilities will include:
- Align work across professional and team boundaries – quickly identifying and unblocking challenges as we prepare to launch the new service
- Day to day management of the project / programme and provide effective leadership and management controls, identifying, scheduling and making key decisions to ensure programmes, projects and operations continue without delay.
- Ensure strategic and operational risks and issues are identified, prioritised, assessed and mitigated, working with senior stakeholders to manage key relationships and ensure risks are appropriately understood and owned.
- Support effective governance and decision making, particularly focusing on interdependencies with other Commission projects. Engage with reporting mechanisms that hold you and the workstream leads to account for delivery.
