Your new school

This three - form entry primary school in Dudley are looking to recruit a primary specialist cover supervisor to join their schools staffing team from September 2022. The school prioritises pupil progress and places a strong emphasis on ensuring that pupils are given positive experiences within the class and school life. The staff all share the same vision and recognise that each child in a unique individual with their own talents and needs.

Your new role

This role will begin in September 2022 on a long-term, ongoing basis. You will provide cover for short notice absence for teaching staff, classroom support, intervention groups, some PPA and leadership cover, breakfast support and supervisory support for visitors through school as necessary. The role is a flexible role which will change depending on the needs of the school and at the discretion of the Headteacher

What you'll need to succeed

Hold a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools or equivalent
Have recent experience within a primary school setting, within the last 2 years as a minimum
Recent experience in a similar role
Proven track record of supporting classes and small groups as well as covering lessons where required.
