You will be working for a rapidly expanding firm that specialises in international VAT and tax and accounting for e-commerce businesses that are located internationally and in the UK.

As a bookkeeper in this firm, you will be expected to be able to work independently and pro-actively in the Accounts department, enter client data accurately and efficiently into Xero, provide support to your colleagues and drive improvement throughout the Accounts department.

Main responsibilities will include double entry bookkeeping including bank reconciliation of clients’ accounts primarily through Xero and occasionally other accounting systems; extraction of data from e–commerce websites. E.g., Amazon Sellers Central and preparation of depreciation, accruals, prepayments, journals, and any other relevant adjustments.

This role will suit someone with bookkeeping experience gained within and accountancy practice (preferred) or a commercial accounting department looking for a new challenge or possibly an AAT student looking to move into their first accountancy role. Whatever your background you will need to be a a self-starter, highly motivated and a clear communicator at all levels seeking to work in a dynamic team. If you have knowledge of e–commerce businesses that would be an advantage as would experience of working in an accountancy practice and using Xero.
