Payroll Manager

Temporary Payroll Manager role with the opportunity to become permanent, based in Northwich.

Your new role
Being welcomed into your new role as a temporary to permanent Payroll Manager, you will be working as part of the Company’s Management Team. Your primary responsibilities include the effective management of the Payroll Service Team and ensuring the smooth running of the department.

Your working hours are 9-5pm on Mondays to Thursdays with a 30-minute lunch break and a very appealing 9-4pm on Fridays with a 30-minute lunch break.

What you'll need to succeed
It is important that your beliefs align with the company’s and well as being confident and resilient as you will be working with a group of clerks below you and processing payroll for 3500 clients. On the more technical side of things, you must have experience managing a large department as well as knowledge of current HMRC legislation relating to Payroll e.g., SMP, SSP. The systems that you will be using are SAGE and NEST, so knowledge around these will be beneficial.
