This large open-plan nursery in Cheltenham is looking for a full-time nursery practitioner to join their team of friendly staff on a permanent full-time basis. The nursery consists of various light and open rooms that free flow and direct access to two large outdoor areas with many activities for all ages. There is also a communal staff area for staff to eat their lunch together. The nursery is proud to have an outstanding reputation and is committed to keeping up their standards and care for children.

Your new role

This job is for a full time Early Years practitioner. The position is for someone who is confident in adapting their approach to different age groups, as they will be working across all room settings. A key responsibility as a preschool practitioner, you must be able to ensure the safety of the children and the environment as well as contributing to keeping the standards of the nursery. You will be expected to liaise with parents and able to communicate sensitively.

What you'll need to succeed

• You must have a Level 2 qualification or higher
• You must have recent experience working in a similar role and setting
• You must have good knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and have a genuine passion for working with children
