Your new role


They are looking for a MI & Data Analyst to join their Customer Journey team. This person will be responsible for creating and maintaining all SQL scripting, as well as working with IT to rebuild scripts and access data in the event of any server issues or business continuity incidents. The right candidate will also be responsible for supporting and coaching others on their SQL coding skills to create a blended and supporting work environment and eliminate any single point of failure.

And it could be a great opportunity to be exposed to a range of different tools such as Tableau and Python.

What you'll need to succeed

• Advanced SQL abilities and significant experience of creating and amending scripts in quick succession to meet business needs using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, or similar software.
• Knowledge of data warehouse designs and principles is essential. Experienced in process Automation using SSIS, including creating, editing, deploying, and scheduling packages to Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in using visual tools such as Power BI / Tableau / SSRS / Excel. Experience in writing and amending DAX expressions is desirable.
• Experience in managing a reporting environment preferably on Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., adding or removing users, identifying performance issues, deploying Power BI, truncating log files).
• Experience in at least 1 scripting language other than SQL (e.g., R, Python).
