This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is delivering a new generation of analytical instruments to weight molecules. The purpose of this role is to join a team of six and play an important role in the development of the Financial Control function, supporting junior members and ensuring it continues to meet the needs of the business as it grows.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible, alongside Sales Operations, for raising sales & intercompany invoices
• Responsibility for monitoring the warranty provision, ensuring relevant balance sheet accounts are maintained and reflect the position of the business
• Investigate and resolve variances on inventory and other standard cost control accounts
• Lead the preparation of consolidated management accounts including key manual journals, and support the preparation of the month end management pack, including commentary
• Support the ongoing development of the new ERP system

What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate you will need:

• QBE, part-qualified or newly qualified accountant
• experience of working as a Management Accountant within a similar organisation
• results oriented with a systematic and organised approach to work
• strong ability to plan and deliver to deadlines
• strong communication skills and an ability to communicate financial results to non-finance stakeholders

• £40,000 - £50,000 annual salary DOE
