An exciting, established and global cloud services and digital connectivity and transformation business with 1,500 staff and an estimated 20% headcount growth in the next year. The well-developed legal function works fully remotely, only very occasionally gathering in the Midlands hub.

Your new role
A 6-month temp Legal Counsel position reporting into the General Counsel, as part of a respected in-house function. Working closely with internal stakeholders (including busy sales and commercial teams), you will review and negotiate a varied range of technology agreements, including SaaS, cloud services and general commercial agreements. You will work to identify and mitigate legal and commercial risk, while also advising on ad hoc privacy matters. The business has a mix of private and public sector clients, and you will need to adapt your approach to tailor to the type of client.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified commercial lawyer with strong technology sector (ideally cloud) contracts experience. You will be comfortable working remotely and managing stakeholders at all levels. In-house experience is necessary, as is the gravitas to deal with demanding internal stakeholders in a fast-paced tech-driven organisation.
