An Ofsted rated Good school based in Ormskirk has recently approached Hays seeking a hardworking KS2 Teaching to start from September 2022. This is a maternity cover role which is to continue through until Feb half term 2023. The school has a one 2 form entry system and is an averaged sized primary school with excellent facilities onsite.

Your new role
Your new role will be full-time, 5 days per week. Your responsibilities will include lesson planning and preparation, delivering lessons to KS2 pupils. Following the schools’ values and policy, you will be engaging with the pupils in managing good behaviour. You will also incorporate various methods of teaching to ensure pupils are actively engaged and understand the materials clearly, while collaborating with senior staff in order to establish new activities to boost students' attainment.

What you'll need to succeed
A genuine passion for education and a can-do attitude are essential for this position, and a general understanding of the primary curriculum is a bonus. Please apply if you have received, or are set to receive Qualified Teacher Status within the next 6 months.
