Java Developer - £450pd – 3-months - Edinburgh

Your new company

This new role is with an established public sector organisation, located in Edinburgh. This organisation is now looking for a experienced Java Developer on 3-month initial contract with a rate of up to £475pd (outside IR35).

Your new role

The role holder will support the continued development & support of the organisations systems which will help progress the company forward. Successful candidates will help guide other developers within the established team to help deliver the results the client is looking for.

What you'll need to succeed

The organisation is looking for an experienced developer who can help the team more efficiently decide and agree on the right and best way of doing things where there is existing doubt. Successful candidates will need prior experience working with Java, Docker and Maven which is essential for this role.

The client develop on Docker containers and use Jenkins, Maven and Nexus to do CI between the development and test environments. Some of the following are essential technology stacks for this role:

· MS SQL Server

· JUnit
