Your new role
Responsible for driving the analysis & reporting that supports companies understanding of customer interaction between all channels and the impact on marketing and customer acquisition/retention strategies. You will lead and continue to develop, a team of two Customer Insight Analysts and be responsible for delivering accurate, timely & compliant customer data to support Marketing campaigns across the business. As a newly created position within the company, this would suit someone looking for a role that will provide some autonomy and accountability.
What you'll need to succeed
- Highly numerate and commercially aware.
- Strong analytical skills & experience of working with large volumes of data.
- Experience of direct marketing techniques, campaign selection & analysis processes.
- Advanced knowledge / experience of SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Excel.
- Team player, able to work with multiple business functions to achieve objectives.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Experience of leading a small team is desirable.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and to make clear recommendations on remedial action.
- Accepts responsibility for own workload, planning and prioritization demonstrating a pro-active approach to investigating and sharing insights.
- Strong relational database skills and extensive experience of manipulating and reformatting data using Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, geo-mapping packages or other standard analysis packages.
- Experience of converting large volumes of data into meaningful insights and making actionable recommendations.
- An excellent communicator, able to present data solutions and management information clearly and succinctly to all levels in the business.
- Experience of having worked closely with senior management.
