Fantastic Interim HRBP role- 6 Month + offering £50k + car allowance & Hybrid working

My client is a leading transport provider with a strong presence across the UK and more recently Europe. This is a busy, ambitious company with fantastic values and due to recent changes across the business and an exciting period of transformation, my client is looking for an experienced HRBP specialist to join their team initially on an interim basis.
Your new role
This is an exciting value add role that will Report directly to the HR Director and working alongside a team of established HRBP's in the north. This role will provide leadership and support for the operational people agenda across multiple sites across Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Huddersfield. The role will take a lead on developing the overall people plans and will work closely with the depot leadership teams to deliver core HR processes across the business. The role will act as a true partner to the business and provide ER resolutions for escalated or complex issues or concerns and will build the foundations to develop a new approach to ER, shaping the culture and delivering on new HR projects to support an exciting transformation phase. You will assist with pay and policy reporting, building strong relationships with the unions as well as leading the engagement agenda across the sites to develop employee engagement performance and reduce attrition etc . The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving and delivering key HR projects for local sites whilst partnering closely with regional leadership teams on organisational change projects.
What you'll need to succeed
This is an exciting role that will add a lot of value to the business and essentially shape the ER and engagement strategy across the wider business aswell as supporting the HR director with key D&I and health & well being agenda. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Employee Relations and be able to demonstrate experience of working within trade unionised environments. You will be resilient & proactive with up-to-date knowledge on relevant UK laws, regulations & policies, Previous experience of working across multi sites would also be desirable. My client is looking for a self-starter with a commercial approach and experience of analysing trends to help influence key stakeholders across the business. You will be hands on but also have experience of shaping & implementing a people agenda. Experience of working within the transport environment would also be advantageous but not essential. As this is initially a 6-12 month FTC candidates will need to be on a short notice period.
