A primary school in Gloucester is looking for a higher-level teaching assistant to start in September. The school has an excellent reputation and provides extensive support and guidance to both the teachers and children. You will be working on a full-time basis, 5 days per week. Parking is also available.
Your new role
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant you will work under the guidance and planning of the class teacher in the mornings, leading Literacy and Maths groups and will take responsibility for running intervention programmes in the afternoons.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
You will be required to have a HLTA/Level 4 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
You will need strong communication skills, especially when working with groups of children.
You will need an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
