This leading pharmaceutical company specialises in generic and branded medicines, particularly in the central nervous system and pain products as well as respiratory products. It is looking to strengthen its business through the permanent appointment of a Head of Quality based in Leeds.
Your new role
Your new job role as Head of Quality will be to ensure the products the company are selling are met with the appropriate Quality standards, this is for patient safety purposes and to ensure that the manufacturing and distribution of products is in accordance with GMP/GDP requirements. You will also be solely responsible for Quality Control activities on site and will be the designated person on the Manufacturer’s and Dealer’s license.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this Head of Quality position, you must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant life science discipline. You have to be a registered Qualified Person and have experience as a QP in a Pharmaceutical company. In-depth knowledge and understanding of GXP practices, especially GMP. Outstanding written and oral skills are needed as well as the ability to work well within a dynamic team whilst using your initiative. You will also have knowledge of Microsoft tools.
