An exciting entry-level opportunity for a graduate or aspiring trainee Finance Analyst. This role would be suited to a candidate who has a degree in a related field, (e.g Accountancy & Finance/ Business and Finance) or is currently studying towards a finance qualification. The role will offer training and development opportunities alongside your studies and will be working as part of a team. The role will offer some hybrid working options following the settling in period, as well as free parking on site. This is a permanent, full-time role. You must live within a commutable distance to Banbury, Oxfordshire to be considered for this role.

Your new role
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the following duties;
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual rebate provisions, produce reports & calculate rebate payable for customers
  • Set up regular rebate meetings with the sales team to track monthly, quarterly and annual rebate accrual rates
  • Attend a monthly sales and marketing meeting and offer financial analysis where required
  • Run daily, weekly & month-end sales & margin reports for the sales teams and ensure reports are correct and can be relied on by the business
  • Support the interim and yearend audits with reports and rebate analysis
  • Run and process a monthly profit centre cleanse to ensure all sales and margin figures are correctly posted
  • Administer monthly and quarterly commission and bonus reports for Payroll
  • Produce monthly Overheads reports by cost centre
  • Support the creation and preparation of the annual sales budget
  • Ad-hoc analysis projects to support the business

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will ideally be working towards an accounting qualification, or hold a degree in a relevant topic, experience isn't essential but some exposure to accounting/finance duties is beneficial. This role is ideal for an ambitious candidate with a desire to grow and progress alongside their studies. Full training for the role will be provided but it is essential that you hold great communication and attention to detail skills, intermediate MS Excel skills and an investigative nature with your work.
