Your new company

This is exciting opportunity to join a new business within an established, global Medical Group. Reporting to the FD, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the day-to-day finance function, as well as supporting the Senior Management Team with strategic and commercial decision making.

You will have an excellent level of autonomy to create, implement and update processes, systems and procedures that will enable to company to grow rapidly.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will be:

• Supporting the business with tenders, process improvements, system upgrades and investment projects
• Preparing the statutory financial reporting and audit process, working closely with the external accountants
• Supporting external accountants, manage the preparation, review and filing of company corporation tax returns
• Assisting the Finance Director with long-term planning and development of the Finance team
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team
• Planning and managing cash, sustaining liquidity across the group
• Introducing and maintaining internal controls, with the FD
• Assist with drafting and implementing financial policies and processes
• Developing and implementing month-end close processes
• Monthly business meetings, giving support to managers and budget holders

What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate, you will need / be:

• Part or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA etc.)
• Experience producing Management / Financial Accounts
• Experience managing controls and FP&A
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong relationship building skills
• Experience with Xero would be beneficial
