Hays Senior Finance are currently working with a leading, fast growing, acquisitive service provider in the North Nottinghamshire area

Your new role
You will be responsible for group budgeting for central cost base as well 3 year planning, you will liaise with the Group Head of Finance, Group FP&A and Divisional Business partners to define budgeting process, you will undertake quarterly reforecasting and reporting, monthly reporting including variance analysis, monthly reporting to the Group Head of Finance, and commentary around performance, extensive ad hoc reporting and analysis as required, including dealing with due diligence requests and requests from the M&A/Corporate finance team. You will also act as IT Business Partner to provide insight and a strong understanding of cost bases, including supplier cost analysis, user/cost modelling, and working with the Head of IT and IT Supplier Manager to gain insight into spend profile. You will work with Group FP&A on Capex reporting and updates and aid in the integration of newly acquired businesses into any central budgeting requirements.. You will help to drive cost centre performance and working with budget holders to maximise opportunities and look for cost synergies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified ACMA or CIMA with proven commercial finance and business partnering skills. You will be used to working in a fast moving commercial environment and have excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills. Experience of financial modelling would be advantageous, you will be used to managing and manipulating large volumes of data. You will be living in commutable distance to North Nottinghamshire as the role is hybrid working.
