Your new role
Your role will start in September and is a long-term role running until at least the end of the autumn term with the likelihood of extension beyond this for a teacher who fits in well. You will be teaching English literature and language lessons in the classroom and will be responsible for lesson planning, marking, and managing student assessments.
What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll need to hold qualified teacher status (QTS) with a subject specialism in secondary English. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, newly qualified, and those expecting to achieve QTS in the summer. You must be able to engage with classes quickly and build effective relationships whilst encouraging and supporting pupils in a professional yet friendly manner.
