Your new role
We are looking for a competent & experienced Electronics/ Control Panel Engineer to work for a long established and growing engineering business in Liverpool. The successful applicant will have experience
as an electronics engineer including electric motor control panel fault finding and repair.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with a range of electric motors, inverters and other industrial control
Knowledge of industrial electronics theory and practice
Knowledge of electric motor theory and practice.
An understanding of inverters and motor control equipment in an industrial environment
Knowledge of motor control panels
Ability to test and fault-find to component level within control panels & printed circuit boards
Ability to repair printed circuit boards following fault diagnosis
Ability to carry out control panel fault diagnosis on site as well as workshop
Ability to manufacture and wire control panels from engineering drawings, without wiring
Knowledge of PLC's, servo motors and drives would be helpful but not essential
Do labouring duties when not busy
Accompany members of engineering staff during out of hours working
On site work with associated equipment, sometimes in an unsupervised environment
Ability to safely lift weight of up to 25kg from floor to bench level
Safely manoeuvre equipment weighing over 25kg with appropriate lifting equipment

What you'll get in return
Salary/Rate: £32,590 to £34,100 per annum negotiable depending on experience+ company pension,
death in service benefit, 4 weeks paid holiday (increasing to 5 weeks after 2 years) and bank holidays.
