A national organisation supporting over 1500 individuals are recruiting for an ambitious, supportive, and engaging service manager to lead the amazing range of staff at a purpose-built day service.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the overall operation of the services and management of staff, regularly supervising teams leaders aiming to engage with individuals with complex needs in a meaningful way, developing their social & life skills, enabling them to live independently.
The environment you will be the caretaker for needs to be uniquely brilliant… Creating an atmosphere loyal to the people both who provide support and are supported, while also remaining fair and transparent.
What you'll need to succeed
- QCF Level 5 Adult Management Diploma or equivalent (QCF level 3 but working toward level 5 may be considered)
- Significant experience in social care management with a proven track record of improving and developing services for people with disabilities.
- In depth knowledge of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014
- Fantastic administrative skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise your workload
- Brilliant people skills with the ability to motivate and staff, and a focus on role modelling best practice
