Hays Technology are looking for Data Scientist to join our private sector client which is based in the Centre of Cheltenham. You will be joining a large-scale international business with a strong data science strategy and vision.

Your new role
You will collaborate with teams across the business to use Machine Learning and Statistical Modelling tools to generate insight and help inform future strategy. You will ensure data provides meaningful value to the business and create algorithms and models to understand how decisions impact the business.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be highly numerate with a strong statistical background
• You will have strong SQL skills, demonstrable experience in utilising data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau, and will be experienced in using R, Python or other statistical analysis packages
• You will have prior experience of cleansing and enriching data and must be able to interoperate business requirements
