Hays are working closely with a fast paced company based in Telford who are looking to recruit a Customer Services/Collections
Your new role
The role would involve the following:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers
- Asking effective questions to understand more about a customer's situation
- Understand income and expenditure
- Support by providing assistance to other departments as and when required
- Know the regulators we work with and keep up to date with the processes you need to follow
- Agree suitable repayment plans which support both customer and the client with have a quick resolution, without putting customers into financial difficulties.
- Provide the highest level of customer service at all times
- Inform customers on next steps, sometime this can include more information around legal proceedings
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding to vulnerable customers
What you'll need to succeed
- Customer focused enthusiastic individual.
- Experience in a dynamic customer services environment or call centre role is favourable
- Good communication skills
- Flexible on work and shift patterns
- Able to achieve high standards and targets of customer care
- Team player
- PC literate
- Someone who is patient, understanding and empathetic
