Your new role
The main function of the role will be to lead a strong team of 6 staff in the day to day operations of the Billing function. The key responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Oversee customer invoicing and self-bill reconciliations of high volume & value
  • Hands on, can do, approach to all tasks & resilience to deal with pressured situations
  • Monitor staff progress, individual performance & training as necessary
  • Support the management team to identify process improvements & effectiveness
  • Ensuring compliance of all processes
  • Build, develop and manage key relationships internally & externally
  • Provide cover and assistance to the billings team
  • Proactively resolve issues and queries with confidence to escalate within the business as necessary

This is a full time position working 9-5.30 Monday to Friday and is fully office based.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous team leadership or supervisory experience and be comfortable engaging in staff development processes. You will have a strong understanding of Billing and Credit Control and be able to identify and support management in the development and improvement of processes. You will be a proactive problem solver and be able to work with other stakeholders effectively.
