Role: Credit Control Supervisor
Location: Crawley
Hours: 42 Hours p/w
My client is a plumbing and heating who sole trader who trades to national companies and essentially would like a Credit Controller to come in to maximise cash flow whilst maintaining an excellent relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
The role
You will be assisting with the Credit Control manager in managing the cash collection operation as well as credit checking and opening new credit account applications and maintaining customer files and ensuring day to day operation and administration in the office run smoothly along with ad-hoc projects. You will have to apply accurate and prompt allocation of various forms of customer payments and bank reconciliations. You will be required to effectively chase debts via telephone, letter, and email as appropriate as well as having prompt management and resolution of invoice queries both internally and externally along with escalating debt litigation and constructing and completing payment plans.
Skills and Competencies
At least two years credit control experience with the ability to make decisions using good judgement both quickly and effectively. To have good time management as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills to proactively and passionately approach Credit Control to look at the ‘bigger picture’. You need to have the ability to work individually as well as part of a team and you will also need to be capable of building and enhancing relationships at all levels including customers, branch staff, senior managers and colleagues so having confidence is essential. #4232194
