Expanding dynamic organisation seek a Contract / Procurement Officer initially for a temporary role but with every prospect of transferring to a permanent contract due to extensive growth opportunities the company are currently experiencing

Your new role

You will support the Procurement Team to ensure the business adopts a pro-active and consistent approach towards all Contract Management, Sourcing, tendering and purchasing activities including regular efficiency and supplier performance reviews.

• Report and monitor strategic supplier performance
• Monthly updating of the forecasting tool and report any expiring contracts to avoid and non-compliance
• Run analysis and report of any non-compliance on contracts regarding overspend, incorrect coding and expiry along with corrective actions
• Maintain an engaging approach from the Contracts and Procurement team to the business
• Support and offer guidance to internal stakeholders with procurement activity for spend under £25,000
• Maintain and manage the contract database, e-sourcing tool and protocol for ongoing supplier management

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience gained in a Contracting and or Procurement role previously
• Studying or prepared to study towards CIPS
• Ability to work on own initiative and to set the agenda and key priorities
• Experience working within a changing and fast paced environment with demanding business objectives
