As a key member of the Consumer Finance Marketing Team, you will own, manage and execute a robust SEO content strategy primarily for Personal Finance Loans (B2C) but occasionally for Retail Finance (B2B) areas.

Conducting deep research into the Personal Loans market, you will identify behaviours and keyword opportunities, then create and manage website content tailored to ensure they compete effectively across search channels. The content you create may include:
  • New blog posts,
  • website product pages,
  • FAQs,
  • white papers
  • landing pages.
As understanding of their website visitors, and their position in the funnel will be key to ensure content is effective. you will monitor and analyse our search rankings and understand the impacts of these on ongoing organic revenues. This will require a focus on both short and long-term performance to meet the goals you set, as well as those of the business. As the company’s internal SEO expert, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the Consumer Finance Marketing Plan, in line with any business objectives working close and in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager and the wider businesses to help maximize Novuna’s brand awareness. Your role will be to act as a brand guardian, helping support customer UX across various mediums including collateral and digital platforms through continuous improvement. You will take ownership of customer feedback channels, a key source of understanding into their customer’s needs, ensuring they retain our high rating on Feefo and helping shape CX activity. To be successful in this role you will:

  • be able to write clear, impactful and original web content, tailored to a specific audience
  • analyse SEO statistics and monitor the impact of changes
  • conduct deep and actionable SEO research into topics, keywords and competitors
  • review websites and make technical SEO recommendations to developers
  • be a confident self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • have attention to detail and ability to execute simultaneous tasks within time constraints
  • respond efficiently to sudden workload priority changes and manage projects accordingly
  • be confident working across multiple teams to deliver key objectives
  • build and manage both internal and external relationships
  • enjoy self-learning around SEO best practice and development across tools and systems
  • make sound business decisions
  • work with and collaborate with colleagues
  • be able to manage external supplier relationships

Skill Requirements

  • Deep, clear and up to date knowledge of SEO concepts and industry best practice
  • Knowledge and understanding of on-site and technical SEO best practices
  • Ability to correctly research SEO performance and opportunities, using analytical tools such as SEMrush and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge and understanding of link building and social media tactics
  • Strong copywriting abilities.
  • have at least 3 years Marketing experience (preferably in an SEO position).

Qualifications required
  • Candidates will be credit checked and need to do a DBS
