Your new role
Civil Litigation Lawyer- You will advise and have conduct of all the legal files on behalf of the clients, including local authorities, housing associations and schools and to provide advice and research into civil litigation, including housing and licensing matters. You will also be required to give advice and mentor less experienced team members, and occasionally deputise for senior lawyers when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a practicing lawyer or solicitor with previous experience in working with local authorities. You should have knowledge in one of the following areas, civil litigation and general civil litigation. You should have post qualification experience of relevant legal work and showcase this in your application. You should be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively whilst also prioritising your workloads and managing time efficiently. You should have the desire to want to expand your area of specialism and be comfortable with meeting targets.
