Your new company HAYS Social Care are looking for Children Support Workers to work in the Warwickshire area. We work with a pool of long-standing reputable organisations that promote the safety and care for adults and children, giving you the opportunity to work in various settings from Residential Homes to Supported Living.
Your new role
In this role you will work with a variety of children and young people with behavioural and complex needs. You will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with children and young people, providing day to day support, motivation, promoting living skills and engagement to develop and meet individual detailed care plans. Our opportunity offers flexible working patterns with am shifts, pm shifts and waking/night shifts available. We offer part time or full-time hours with the opportunity to turn into permanent positions upon successful temporary placement.
You will need to be confident in working with children and young people and have a genuine desire to support the work of the permanent members of staff.
What You'll Need to Succeed
At least 6 months experience in the last 2 years within a social care setting. Experience with providing support and care to children with specific needs (eg. Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Complex Behaviour etc). You will need to passionate in supporting people with a genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives as well as excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and the ability to be a reliable team player.
