Our client is a new service opened just this year. They currently have 2 young people in the service, but have capacity for up to 6.
Your new role
They are currently recruiting a Team Leader (Senior Social Pedagogy Practitioner) to join the diverse team of practitioners working in their home. They are seeking staff who have varying life experiences, skills and strengths.
You will need to be able to establish trusting relationships with the young people, and provide practical day-to-day care for them. You will also need to act as a shift leader, planning and organising the team on duty. You will also need to work with and feedback to the management team.
The role is full time 40 hours per week, and you would be required to work some weekends and bank holidays.

- Minimum 18 months experience of working with young people in a residential setting
- Previous Senior or Team Leader experience
- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification, or equivalent
The client offers a salary of £30,000 per annum, as well as an additional allowance for any sleep in shifts.
The client will give you a comprehensive induction and training. This includes a fully funded Foundation Degree (Level 5) in Therapeutic Work with Children & Young People.
