Care Assistant Job, full and part time, residential and hospital setting
Your new company
We are recruiting for hard working, experienced Care Workers to assist with the discharge of patients from the hospital and assist local care homes with the arrivals of residents. Each day will vary depending on the requirements and will involve varied shifts within local care homes and the hospital. This role is ongoing and shifts include long days, early shifts, late shifts and waking nights on full and part time basis.
Your new role
As a Care Assistant your job is to:
Ensuring the health and safety of elderly residents is maintained
Promoting and encouraging independence
Following hospital guidelines
Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing and feeding
Provide support and companionship to residents
What you'll need to succeed
Be a compassionate and caring individual with a genuine passion for working with the elderly.
Be flexible and reliable
You must have a minimum of 6 months relevant experience
You must be fully vaccinated
Care Certificate and NVQ’s desirable but not essential
