Business Development Account Manager within NHS, permanent position, £54,000 per annum

Your new company
You will be working for a large NHS Trust based in Birmingham on an exciting Business Development Account Manager journey.

Your new role
Enhance and develop existing relationships with stakeholders whilst seeking new opportunity. Whilst it is important to develop these new opportunities, you must ensure renewal with existing contracts. You will seek opportunities to innovate wherever possible.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have relevant and recent Business Development Manager/Account Manager role and have a genuine interest in the enhancement and development of relationships. You will be reliable, organised, self-motivated and confident with people. You will have the ability to analyse complex and novel situations and to make sound decisions under pressure. To suit department needs, you will be highly numerate and have the ability to challenge the status quo in order to improve. You will be able to negotiate contracts to sign-off (new contracts & renewals). You will understands the contractual aspects of contracts and how they work (compliance, liability, KPIs etc.) You must also have experience of articulating with responses to tenders as well as investigating and responding to complaints (where you will construct a chronology of events).

What you'll get in return
You will receive an annual salary of £54,000 per annum with an excellent pension and NHS benefits. You will be working for a forward thinking team who are open to flexible approach towards work.
