Your new role
They are currently looking for a Business Developer, to consistently generate leads within Medical Affairs. Whilst, the role is primarily sales based, the ideal candidate would have a more conservative approach when speaking with biotechs, medical research foundations and other institutes.

Therefore, having a strong understanding in the variety of key therapy areas, will allow you to have a more professional conversation, hopefully leading to a better rapport being built and separating you from the likes of other competition and maintain the competitive edge that this company has built since pre pandemic.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a life sciences degree or some medical communication background, as knowledge within key therapy areas is preferred. Additionally, the perfect candidate will have a sales mentality and able to identify spot selling points and motivators that attract clients to work with you.

Also, being able to generate leads within medical affairs and asking the relevant questions to receive answers that can lead to commitment on future business. The main objective is to try and double the companies income, as you and your line managers (Scientific Director) sole focus to to expand the client base and keep expanding the company further and further

What you'll get in return
Typically most staff are on a hybrid set up, working from home the majority of the time as they only required in the office twice a month on anchor days. Although, if wanted you are more than welcome to go in to their Regent Street office whenever you require.

You will also be able to travel across Europe and America to attend client meeting, with all expenses covered by the company. These locations consist of Vienna, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, Chicago, Texas, San Francisco, Boston and Los Angeles.

Alongside this, our client is offering a very competitive salary from £60,000 - £80,000 based on experience, as well as a bonus of up to 10% if all targets are hit and all tasks completed to the highest standard.
