"An Experienced Business Analyst is required to help support the delivery of the Regulatory Reporting Programme within EMEA Top Tier Private Bank (min 7-10yrs experience)
  • Experience of working in Private Banking or Wealth Management is preferable
  • Experience of working in a multi-asset class, multi-jurisdictional environment allied with good product knowledge
  • Knowledge of the Regulatory landscape and with some direct responsibility in delivery of Regulatory Reporting Projects; at a minimum the ability to articulate the key Regulations and their high-level requirements (MiFID/EMIR/Dodd Frank/FINMA)
  • Exposure to handling transaction/trade reporting requirements specifically – MiFID/EMIR/FINMA (Swiss regulator)
  • Able to work independently, with minimum support and to seek out relevant SME’s across the business and partner organisations (Sales, Tech, Ops, L&C, Risk, Policy)
  • Confident and articulate communicator, both written and verbal. Demonstrable experience interacting with very senior-stakeholders MD/C-Suite level
  • Demonstrable knowledge of SDLC lifecycle across both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies
  • Project management experience an advantage
  • Familiar with key Private Bank/Capital Markets concepts - how trades are booked, clearing, trade capture, back-office enrichment, consumed by the reporting platforms, processing repots, submission to the regulator/repository
Key Tasks:
  • Business analysis throughout full project life cycle including definition of problem statement, requirements, creation and execution of test plans and ensuring readiness for implementation
  • Understanding of using key artifacts such as - RTM/Training Needs Analysis/Outreach prior to deployment/BAU handover/Control documentation (where reqd)
  • Produce project scope documents
  • Produce/agree RACI matrices
  • Build strong relationships with project stakeholders and ensure their accountability against agreed deliverables
  • Arrange and facilitate requirements workshops
  • Create Use Cases/User Journeys and gain consensus from impacted user groups
  • Produce, track and gain sign off on Business and Functional Requirements documents
  • Produce and maintain Requirements traceability matrix
  • Produce and distribute detailed and accurate meeting minutes with clear actions, owners and timelines
  • Maintain and track issues log (RAID)
  • Present at weekly Working Groups/OpCo’s
  • Support UAT across multiple stakeholder groups and geographies; produce test plans, MI, track issues and help troubleshoot issues
  • Prepare and deliver training material to front office
  • Perform Data Analysis tasks as required to support project
