I am currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a successful organisation based in Birmingham. The core purpose of the role is to drive the identification, challenge and capture of requirements, provide business case support, and perform feasibility studies, identifying efficiency and effectiveness improvements in working practices as part of project delivery.
The Business Analyst will capture and analyse strategic needs, challenges and opportunities in the form of traditional requirements or user stories; Support the production of business cases to support proposed processes/solutions; Designs processes in the form of current (As – is) and future (To – Be) via facilitation of workshops, including gap analysis, identifying areas for improvement, recommending and implementing new ways of working within business functions; Identify the impact of new solutions and processes on the wider organisation; Contribute to the impact analysis of project change requests on process, agreed objectives and benefit cases; assist in the analysis and delivery of acceptance test scripts, plans and results ensuring requirements are being met.
The Business Analyst will have strong supplier management skills; Excellent communication skills (both written and oral); Strong analytical mindset; Experience of change management and business impact analysis is essential; Demonstrable experience in structured BA techniques and methods including process mapping using an associated mapping tool e.g. Microsoft Visio; Able to relate operational needs to technical capability. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) is required; ISEB Business Analysis Diploma is advantageous.
