This organisation is a respected arranger of 10 year Structural Defect Insurance and endeavour to supply clients with a premium service an now have a need for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their growing team. They are continually growing and are passionate about recruiting people who are driven and focused. Their aim is to build a forward thinking team that can contribute to the development of our successful business, and therefore have a requirement for an experienced Building Surveyor.

Your new role

As a Building Surveyor you will provide professional advice on all aspects of property, construction and you will be primarily responsible for carrying out risk assessments on properties that have been registered by the company. You will ensure that they meet building regulations and are built in accordance with same and ultimately insurance cover can be issued once complete. As a brand ambassador, you will ensure that company values and ethos are promoted at all times. This individual will carry out site inspections for 10 year structural warranty insurance cover on new build dwellings. This involves inspecting the dwellings at various stages during construction and liaising with builders on any technical issues or sub-standard/remedial works. This role is fully remote and you will travel throughout NI in accordance to site locations.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will hold a degree or equivalent in Building Surveying and must have previous experience working within private residential construction projects from inception to completion. You must have a full driving licence and have the ability to prioritise work in order to meet strict deadlines.
